Jason and I have a new goal of seeing every type of Chicago sporting event (well at least the big ones: baseball, football, basketball, and hockey) this next year. Cubs game; check. Next to tackle, a Bear's game. Jason's Aunt and Uncle were in town so we all headed to Soldier Field to indulge in some football spectating. We lucked out with beautiful weather. Seriously, look at that sky! I have to also note how cool Soldier Field is as a venue. Set just south of downtown, it is a modern silver structure that does not lack luster. Once I was settled into my seat with a basket of deep fried chicken fingers and big gulp of beer, I was ready to watch. Minus a few questionable passes by Cutler, the Bears played well, defeating St. Louis 23-6. The fans, as always, were very entertaining... lots of singing, yelling, and high-fiving.
If you are not familiar with "Da Bears" fan base please watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=769A4mUY7g0
