Sunny Slopes

Who would have thought a weekend in Beaver Creek, CO would be a break from the cold!? As you can tell by the pictures we were blessed with a weekend of clear skies and sunny days. When we landed in Chicago Monday night, it was zero degrees. 

This was Jason and my first trip to Beaver Creek - a small ski resort with a central village and beautiful mountain. Nice long open runs with a spectacular view of the Rockies in the distance. We skied two days and did a little exploring (and eating) in Vail Village and Denver on our way back to the airport.
